a new jersey travel Guide
No matter where you live in New Jersey, you’re likely around the corner from an interesting museum, historic site, or park. This program utilizes original photography and compelling fun facts to introduce you to cool places around the state. Whether you’re new to New Jersey or have lived here all your life, you’ll be inspired to visit the places highlighted (you’re also welcome to just enjoy this tour from your couch!).
demystifying the BOOK PROPOSAL
Do you have an idea for a non-fiction book? The first step towards publication is to put together a book proposal. I answer common questions non-fiction writers have about the daunting process using what I learned while crafting my book's proposal, which I sold to a publisher in 2020. I share samples of my proposal, helpful books and resources, and practical tasks to get started. Participants will leave with a greater understanding—and less fear!—of what a book proposal is and how to craft one that will sell.
