hi, I'm kerri

I am a writer, librarian, and the creator of Jersey Collective, a multifaced project about New Jersey.

I’m the editor of New Jersey Fan Club: Artists & Writers Celebrate the Garden State (Rutgers University Press). My writing has appeared on McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, Catapult, The Rumpus, NJ Indy, and elsewhere.

I’m available to present on topics related to my book—writing & New Jersey.

I used to work as a portrait, fashion, and wedding photographer, but these days I just take pictures for fun (and mostly with my phone). I’ve also been a historical interpreter, studied filmmaking in college, worked in archives, and served on my hometown’s historic preservation commission.

I’m from Monmouth County but currently live north of the Driscoll Bridge.
